# Live Appraisal of Key Compromise via Duplicity Evident Infrastructure: How to protect verifiers (and controllers) from imposters without blockchain and trusted third parties

A 33-slide deck by Samuel M. Smith relating Key Event Receipt Infrastructure (KERI) to risk assessment and appraisal, with reference to the IETF Remote Attestation Procedures (RATS) working group. It defines static and dynamic appraisability, and covers end verifiability, duplicity, witnesses and watchers, KEL-anchored credential registries, trust bases, and a mortgage-signing use case.

Labels: reading level Practitioner; evidence informative (an author's paper, deck, tutorial or post explaining the suite).
