# KSWG monthly meeting, 2026-06-09

Announcements noted an abstract on SAIDs (self-addressing identifiers) accepted at PID Fest and a KERI Foundation market and community meeting on comparing DID (decentralized identifier) methods. Reports covered a KERI specification PR requiring WOOBI processing updates in KERIpy, and KERIpy work toward 2.0 compliance with 1.0 backward compatibility. Discussion settled the approach to using urn: in SAID generation, noting that adding the prefix after SAID-ification would break size-dependent version strings, and covered applying KERI to digital assets.

Labels: reading level Practitioner; evidence presenter-reported (a talk or meeting; what was said, not checked).
