# KSWG monthly meeting, 2026-01-13

The status review noted that the steering committee leaves technical verification of the specifications to the working group, and that the State of Utah had asked for the KERI specifications to be approved before its 29 January Better Identity Coalition presentation. Announcements covered the KERI Foundation 5W project and the April KERI Conference, and reports covered a proposed joint-issuance approach in the dossier specification, a Spec-Up-T update, delegation PRs in KERIpy and did:webs. Discussion covered reworking the URN SAID (self-addressing identifier) submission in response to IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) concerns, and Smith presented on presentation registries.
