# KSWG monthly meeting, 2025-12-09

Announcements and reports noted KERI Conference early-bird tickets, did:webs awaiting two PRs and one more deep-dive session with the DIF (Decentralized Identity Foundation) DID committee, all specifications under review by the steering committee, and the URN:SAID (self-addressing identifier) specification awaiting responses. The discussion covered best practices for key management, including anchoring issuances for long-term credentials and cryptoperiods as described in NIST SP 800-57. Future topics listed were presentation registries, sparse Merkle trees for predicate and range proofs, and vendor-to-vendor unlinkability using TEL (transaction event log) registrars and observers.
