# The Economics of Its & Bits: Digital Identity (Nonconformist Keynote slides)

Slides (46 pages) for Samuel M. Smith's keynote at the Nonconformist Innovation Summit, 2 July 2020, titled "The Economics of Its & Bits, Digital Identity: Freedom, Privacy, Control, Security". They trace value moving from physical goods to data, set out the mathematics of cooperative network-of-network effects, and argue that trust is a transferable transaction cost and that control of data starts with control of identifiers, citing KERI.

Labels: reading level Introductory; evidence informative (an author's paper, deck, tutorial or post explaining the suite).
