# Simplifying legal entity identification in the digital age

A short Help Net Security video in which two GLEIF (Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation) staff explain the verifiable LEI (vLEI), a digital identity service built on the Legal Entity Identifier, and why organizations need a way to verify the authenticity of digital information and its sources.
