# Enhancing Security in User-Centered Authentication Using KERI

An academic conference paper in the IEEE proceedings of PDP 2024 (DOI 10.1109/PDP62718.2024.00030) that, according to its abstract, examines integrating KERI into self-sovereign identity (SSI) to make user-centric authentication more resilient without a blockchain, since the keys used to generate proofs are not exchanged.
