# Global vLEI (formerly Nord vLEI)

The Swedish vLEI issuer of the NordLEI group, qualified as Nord vLEI in April 2024, the first European Qualified vLEI Issuer, and renamed Global vLEI in February 2025; it issues vLEIs and the official-role and engagement-context credentials and says it runs the KERI, ACDC and CESR stack. The renaming is the crawl's inference from the company's own newsroom. Source read 21 October 2026: https://globalvlei.com/about and GLEIF's press release of 16 April 2024.

Labels: reading level Practitioner; evidence official (a statute, a regulator's document, or a standards body's own page).
