# did:webs Task Force provisional meeting, 2023-08-24

Announcements covered the provisional task force's expected approval under ToIP (Trust over IP), a possible meeting-time change, and whether to amend the charter on where reference-implementation code should live (WebOfTrust, DIF (Decentralized Identity Foundation) Universal Resolver, or the Open Wallet Foundation), with IIW (Internet Identity Workshop) October 2023 proposed as a milestone for a coherent draft and a resolver implementation. Discussion reviewed recent specification issues and pull requests: alsoKnownAs versus equivalentId, whois, weighted-threshold multi-signature, TLS common name, and signed files.
