# did:webs Task Force meeting, 2025-12-16

Discussion of the alsoKnownAs default concluded that a did:web DID (decentralized identifier) should appear in the DID document only when the controller has placed it in a designated aliases ACDC, since only that commitment shows the controller authorized it, and the specification and implementation were to be changed accordingly. The meeting was split with a Dossier specification discussion, whose notes cite an article on evidence-based trust in telecommunications and the notion of preponderance of evidence. The next DID community tasks were restated: W3C registration, passing the W3C test suite and evaluation against the DID traits matrix.
