# did:webs Task Force meeting, 2025-08-19

Reports noted the TODO list now at the root of the did:webs meeting pages, the did:webs resolver updated and integrated with the Universal Resolver, and a request to take down the Hyperledger Labs repository so the GLEIF IT repository becomes definitive. Discussion proposed tying the ABNF (Augmented Backus-Naur Form) for the method-specific identifier to the current KERI version and restricting the AID (autonomic identifier) to valid CESR digest strings, and named the next DID (decentralized identifier) community tasks: W3C registration, passing the W3C test suite and evaluation against the DID traits matrix. Formal submission of did:webs to the DIF (Decentralized Identity Foundation) DID Methods Working Group for DIF Recommended status was proposed.
