# did:webs Task Force meeting, 2024-02-09

The action-item review reported the provisional IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) media type registration for CESR as complete, and a co-chair was announced as having stepped down. Discussion proposed an implementers draft so that multiple implementations can verify the steps and show interoperability before final public review, and noted the value of explaining to outside audiences that did:webs separates signing control from web administration control. Remaining items were the whois pull request, the normative and informative split, service endpoint updates and the KERIpy release candidate.
