# KERI Dev Focus Call #9, 2023-01-19

Smith discussed the English semantic naming conventions behind KERIpy and the future of CESR: native CESR KERI events and ACDC field maps, new codes for lists, version strings and edge operators, refactored group codes for pipelining, and codes for encrypted ciphers, seeds and UDP envelopes. The call also set out the new architecture separating type mapping (CESRide) from parsing (Parside), how to contribute, and a formal vote on names and repositories.

Labels: reading level Practitioner; evidence informative (an author's paper, deck, tutorial or post explaining the suite).
