# Auths (auths-dev)

An open-source project giving people and AI agents local-first did:keri identities, with a gateway for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that signs an agent's tool calls. The repository calls itself an experimental predecessor and says development moved to auths.dev. Source read 21 October 2026: https://github.com/auths-dev/auths.
