# ACDC Task Force meeting, 2023-01-17

Announcements noted that the vLEI (verifiable Legal Entity Identifier) is in production with Provenant as the first QVI (Qualified vLEI Issuer), and the vLEI report described a first-quarter roadmap including a QVI SDK (software development kit) and a watcher network. Items covered future topics such as a root of trust doubling as a discovery mechanism, ACDC validation bundling that separates structural from business-logic validation, with the GLEIF (Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation) sally verification service, and how caching affects forensic investigation and revocation checks.

Labels: reading level Practitioner; evidence official (a statute, a regulator's document, or a standards body's own page).
