GLEIF Annual Report

The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) has published its 2024 Annual Report, including audited financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2024. The report outlines GLEIF’s financial condition, operational highlights, and key developments.

Continuing its commitment to digital trust, GLEIF used verifiable Legal Entity Identifiers (vLEIs) to sign the 2024 Annual Report. The Chair, CEO, and auditors cryptographically signed the document using vLEIs to verify and seal its contents, digitally authenticating the report’s strategic and financial data. Multiple vLEI signatories enhance credibility and make the document tamper-evident.

In collaboration with XBRL International and Amana, GLEIF published the report in both human- and machine-readable Inline XBRL and HTML formats, with GLEIF’s LEI embedded into the financial data. This creates an official business record automatically linked to verified LEI reference data in the Global LEI Index.
