A design paper proposing a proof-of-age mechanism for Authentic Chained Data Containers (ACDCs) using a precomputed, static sparse Merkle tree (SMT) of age predicates held in the holder's wallet, as an alternative to blindable state registries or unlinkable zero-knowledge-proof (ZKP) predicate proofs, which it argues prevent detection of issuer key compromise. It covers SMT construction, the full suite of age predicates, usage and social engineering attacks.
