Cox on 6 October 2026, sets rules for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by state executive-branch agencies under the Pro-Human AI Initiative. It assigns duties to the Department of Government Operations, the Division of Technology Services and each agency, and directs that the State-Endorsed Digital Identity (SEDI) Framework be developed and used, where applicable, as the state's trust infrastructure for AI.
