Smith presented IPEX (Issuance and Presentation Exchange): the difference between issuance and disclosure, ACDCs as general data containers, append-to-extend, proof of issuance by signing the SAID (self-addressing identifier) of the most compact form, Merkle-tree-like verification, and proof of disclosure as essential to contractually protected disclosure.
